A long time off.

I have been busy with a mix of laziness with this blog in the past year or so. But I just started a web design company here in Grand Rapids called lite-code. I am marketing it in the way of “Educational Web Design”, for clients who want a web site made but who also want someone to train them on how to use it. I am working on 2 big projects right now which are almost wrapped up and I have a few more on the back burner. The great thing is I haven’t even advertised once besides maybe handing out a few random business cards.

Things are going really well though. Nina and I moved to Grand Rapids in early November and we love it here. We recently bought a house in Easttown which is really exciting. The dogs love it here with all the snow and the great parks we have here in the city.

It has been a long time and I promise to keep up on this blog from now on since there is so much going on that I can share with everyone. In the meantime check out my awesome business card design.

New Site is up!

I have been working on a new web site for myself the past couple months. It has been a slow process, but is finally coming together nicely. It is a flash based site that is powered by ImageVue, which is a very nice photo gallery software that can easily be manipulated into a full blown web site if you know your way around the code.

I am mainly creating the site to showcase my resume and prove my skills to future employers who might be interested in hiring me for my many services. Nina and I are still in Alaska and should be back in California on the 8th of August. She has been working a lot and is getting a little antsy to get down the road and see the rest of Alaska. We have been in Anchorage for over a month and are both a little anxious to finish our exploring. We plan on stopping in Banff National Forest since we have been told my more than a handful of people to GO.

I will be posting on this blog a lot more in the future. About everything really, photography, design stuff, electronics, software news and everything else that catches my eye. Stay tuned.
